However, since Kumon doesn't really do word problems or problem solving strategies she did not do very well on the AMC 8 exam. I bought this workbook for her to improve her skills along with the 1st and 2nd versions of the book. It had 5 chapter

This book can be used by 5th to 8th grade students preparing for AMC 8. Each chapter consists of (1) basic skill and knowledge section with plenty of examples, (2) about 30 exercise problems, and (3) detailed solutions to all problems.
