Some parts are very well written, such as the quantum physics, but some concepts should have been done better: explained in a more simple manner and more detailed. Does not give lots of examples. This should be accompanied with other books as one study, such as||"The text is readable and has a nice slightly informal tone to it that I think the students will respond well to. It covers the basic ideas well with a good range of applications in the later chapters."
